Mr. Brainwash on the Cover of LA Weekly

We all have seen Mr. Brainwash's work in Los Angeles. His giant wheatpastes and stencils of a guy wielding a movie camera were seen all over the place. One place I did not expect to see him: The cover of the LA Weekly.

He has a solo exhibition that opens June 18th called "Life is Beautiful" at the former CBS Studios 6121 W Sunset Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90036.

I learned from Shepard Fairey's blog that he started out as a film maker. He was documenting Shepard Fairey's work in 1999. Shepard Fairey introduced Mr. Brainwash to Banksy which led him to switch from being an observer to a full on street artist.
