Futura Strategic Synchronicity VIP Event

I used my GraffHead VIP status and attended the preview night of Futura's LA show entitled Strategic Synchronicity. The event was held in what I consider Downtown Los Angeles' skid row district. The building had a great vibe with high ceilings that completely fit Futura's work. The turnout was amazing and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves.

It was great to finally see Futura's work in person, since I had heard so much about him. Futura was involved in graffiti's early days in New York. He started doing graffiti in 1970 way before most of the current graffiti artists were even born.

The event had a live DJ and video of Futura's work was playing on a screen hanging from the high ceiling. The colors and Futura's signature designs were inspiring.

The show runs Friday, September 19 - Sunday, Sep 21. If you are in Los Angeles, I suggest you make time to check it out. The gallery is open 11AM to 6PM and is located at 610 South Main Street Los Angeles CA 90014.
