Chaka LOD Art Show - April 25, 2009

1991. It seems like it was just yesterday. I can still see the clear Chaka tags on Venice Blvd. Chaka was not only famous because the news media made a big deal about his arrest. He was famous because he was one of the most up Los Angeles writers of the late 80s early 90s. You were not able to go far in LA County without seeing a Chaka tag.

After 18 years, Chaka is having his first solo art show at Mid-City Arts on April 25, 2009.
