DJ Rob One RIP
I did not personally know Rob One. I was fortunate to see him DJ once, back in the early 90s at Hex's Hip Hop Shop. It has been 9 years since he passed away. His crew is keeping his memory alive. This piece in Koreatown was painted by Axis and Gas. The $tatus Faction crew has also been keeping his name out there by using Rob One's image in many of their works (example).
