LA Rooftops - Jems + Apear

Spotted these series of rooftops in Los Angeles. If you pay close attention you can tell that either a ladder or a somehow a boost was used. The letters on the rooftop with the brick wall are really high up.

Graffiti on Los Angeles Rooftops

Rooftops provide a great canvas for a graffiti artist. Many are highly visible and stay up for a long time. A billboard will give you the most visibility, however most get taken down fairly quickly. A piece on a rooftop may stay up for months and even years. Here is a small sample of graffiti on LA's many rooftops.

Rooftops are a great place to get up. Your work usually stays up longer, it is more visible and toys usually don't paint over you. Many of Los Angeles' writers have taken rooftops to a whole new level with some doing full color work.
